Hörsam

Infrastructure should get built on time.

Much of the time is spent before construction begins. Hörsam builds AI-native products that remove that time from permitting.

The bottleneck is not the building.

Europe needs new grids, rail lines and energy installations. In Sweden a permit process for new energy infrastructure runs to around nine years on average, and what draws it out is rarely the construction but everything that comes before it: consultation, review and objections handled by hand.

Objections that are not addressed during consultation do not disappear. They can return as appeals much later in the project.

First product

The consultation, from first conversation to finished map.

The product runs statutory consultation from end to end and produces material in which every conclusion is traceable.

Corridor Consultation area Verified participant Theme cluster
  1. The interview

An AI interviewer talks with affected residents in Swedish or English, at their own pace.

  2. The participants

Each participant is verified, and their answers are linked to an address inside the project area.

  3. The report

The statutory consultation report is drafted automatically.

  4. The map

The same material is shown on an interactive project map, with each comment placed where it belongs.

Material that holds up.

Verified participants

No anonymous submissions. Each participant is verified, and the submission is linked to an address inside the project area.

How personal data is handled. Every conversation opens by saying what the questions concern, how long it takes and that the participant can stop at any time. Before anything is submitted, the participant sees exactly what will be shown: the submission appears under a number, never under a name. Name and personal identity number are stored apart from the submission and are shown neither to case officers nor in the report. Submissions are used only in the consultation where they were given.

Traceable reporting

Every claim in the report can be traced back to the submissions it is based on.

From the report

Residents along the northern stretch raise construction noise. Several want to know how heavy transport will be routed and when the work will run.

Example. Three marks, three verified submissions along the corridor.

Designed for Swedish consultation, ready for Europe

The process is designed around Swedish consultation requirements and to be adapted to corresponding permitting processes elsewhere in Europe.
